On September 24, the China Resources Yunfu Xianghai Optoelectronics distributed photovoltaic power generation project was successfully connected to the grid. As the largest single distributed photovoltaic project of the Yunfu company to date and the company's seventh comprehensive energy project completed and put into operation, its grid connection further expanded the region's green energy application scenarios.

Leveraging rooftop resources to promote local utilization of green electricity
With a total installed capacity of 5.988 MW, the project is built on the factory's rooftop resources and adopts a "self-generation for self-consumption, with surplus power fed into the grid" operating model, connecting to the grid at a voltage level of 10 kV. After being put into operation, green electricity will be prioritized for consumption within the factory area, with surplus power transmitted to the public grid, further improving energy utilization efficiency.
Green power generation delivering comprehensive emission-reduction benefits
Once completed and put into operation, the project is expected to generate 7.32 million kWh of electricity annually, saving 2,233 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 6,282 tons each year. While meeting the company's energy demand, it achieves simultaneous improvements in green energy utilization and energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits.

Continued expansion to support green energy development
The successful grid connection of this project further enriches the region's green energy supply and helps optimize the energy consumption structure. In the future, the company will continue to expand comprehensive energy business scenarios, accelerate the implementation of diverse green projects, deepen cooperation with key energy-consuming enterprises, and continuously inject green momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy.
